Description: The full moon is in sway, a bridge onlooking the horizon. The structure of the bridge was inspired by Japanese architecture. The bridge’s shadow is reflected on the water.

Inspiration: Japanese/anime architecture and also natural elements, such as the moon and water.

Reflection Tree

Date:

Size: “7, 1/2 x 11”

Medium: Acrylic Painting

Description: The tree sees a reflection of itself in the water below. However, the reflection of itself is distorted. The viewer can see the beauty of the tree’s feathery leaves through its bright colors; however, through the water we see the tree in a different hue.

Inspiration: How do we “See ourselves”? Is a variation of what is reflected back at us. Sometimes we do not see ourselves for the value of who we are.
